  • What areas can be treated with botulinum toxins and dermal fillers?
Botulinum toxins such as Botox can be used to treat wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes (commonly known as crow's feet). Dermal fillers can be used to add volume to the lips, cheeks, and other areas of the face, as well as to smooth out wrinkles and lines around the mouth, nose, and forehead.
  • How soon can I get treated again with botulinum toxins or dermal fillers?
The frequency of botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments varies depending on the individual's skin type, desired results, and the type of filler used. Most people can get Botox treatments every three to six months, while dermal fillers may last up to a year or more. During your consultation, our experienced aestheticians can help determine a treatment plan that meets your individual needs and goals.
  • What are botulinum toxins and dermal fillers, and how can they benefit my skin?
Botulinum toxins, commonly known as Botox, and dermal fillers are injectable treatments used to restore a youthful appearance to the skin by reducing the appearance of wrinkles, lines and other signs of aging. Botox is a type of neurotoxin that temporarily paralyzes the muscles in the treatment area, preventing them from contracting and leading to wrinkles. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, are made from hyaluronic acid and other substances that add volume to the face, filling in wrinkles and lines. Both treatments can be used to improve the appearance of the forehead, around the eyes, and lips.

  • What are some aftercare tips I should follow after getting botulinum toxins or dermal fillers?
After getting botulinum toxins or dermal fillers, it is important to avoid strenuous exercise and intense heat or cold for at least a day, as this may cause the filler to move. Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area, as this can also cause the filler to migrate. Depending on the treatment area, you may also be advised to avoid alcohol, aspirin, or other medications that can thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising.
